Halloween Adventures 2005!

This year I spent my Halloween in NYC with Sarah. Here's a quick rundown of some of our adventures:

First off, costumes. Being the unoriginal bastard that I am, I was a zombie this year. I went all out with the liquid latex though so I could make my neck and face wounds REALLY nasty.

Sarah, the creative idea-snatcher that she is, got the idea from her friend to be the 50' Woman. Very sexy, as you can see here:

Here's another photo of Sarah. Notice the homemade building legwarmers:

Our good friend Deirdre also joined us for the festivities. Here she is with me sporting her Lindsey Lohan costume:

The Bar we were hanging out at had the traditional holiday pasttime of "bobbing for apples" with one minor adjustment. Can you guess what they do different?

So now onto the competition! I challenged Emma Badapple, Gotham Girl Roller Derby allstar that she is. I should have known by her name alone that I was no match...

Emma takes the victory and moves ahead in the competition! I just reek like beer.

So the next day, Sarah organized a massive pumpkin picking trip in New Paltz, NY. I peeled the blood and latex off my face, but otherwise I look prettymuch the same as I did the night before. Here's an adorable photo of us on a hayride.

While I was searching for the perfect pumpkin, I found some wormies! Convinced that they were the perfect addition to add authenticity to my costume, I quickly befriended them.

All in all, it was a very successful trip! I think between Sarah and I we came home with 45 pounds of pumpkins and some delicious apple cider donuts. Like Ministry once said:
